Dorothy Marie Redhage, 77, of Sedalia passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at University of MO Hospital in Columbia. She was born on August 15, 1940 in Shakleford, MO the daughter of James and Luella (Bargfrede) Wilckens, who preceded her in death.
On January 25, 1960, in Concordia, MO, she was united in marriage to Allen Robert Lee Redhage, who preceded her in death on January 15, 2011.
Dorothy was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. She worked as a cashier at Griff's Hamburger for many years, also at W&M Welding and Rest Haven Convalescent Home. Dorothy enjoyed flower gardening, making quilts to donate to her church, and cooking. She lived most of her life in the Sedalia area.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Mittenburg (Frank) and a son Robert Allen Redhage, all of Sedalia; three grandchildren, Frank IV (Nichole), Holly (John) and Christopher; a great grandson, O'mari; two step great grandchildren, Jerian and Zariah; and a sister, Ruby Skidmore (Carl) of Lake Havasu, AZ.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Andrew Tessone officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Burial will be at the MO Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville.
Pallbearers will be Robert Redhage, Frank Mittenburg, Frank Mittenburg, IV and Christopher Mittenburg.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Our Savior Lutheran Church Radio Ministry in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
