Dorothy Perry

Dorothy Lavaun Perry, 69, of Sedalia passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at University of Missouri, Columbia. She was born on July 1, 1944, in Seymore, MO a daughter of Chavel and Dorothy Hill (Young), who preceded her in death.

In California on September 15, 1961, she was united in marriage to Arvis Perry, who preceded her in death on September 21, 2001.

She enjoyed fishing with her husband, playing with her grandchildren, and playing video games with family members.

She was survived by three children, Mike Perry (Penny) of Hughesville, Marie Parish (Steve) of Sedalia, and Michelle King (David) of Sulphur, LA; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Perry (Trisha Byerly), Christopher Perry, Kaitlyn (Lee) Dotson, Trent Williamson, Stephanie Perry, Brittney Perry and Dawson King; one great grandchild, Rylee Perry.

She was preceded in death by her brother, William Hill.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
