Doris Evie Vogan

Doris Evie Vogan, 89, of Lincoln, MO, formerly of La Monte, MO, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. She was born on November 22, 1930 in Londenberry, Vermont, the daughter of John and Nina (Falbe) Wyman, who preceded her in death.

She graduated from Practical Nursing School in 1950 and then served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1953, attaining the rank of Airman Third Class.

In 1952 she married Charles I. Vogan at Scott Air Force Base. He preceded her in death in 1989.

Doris was a member of American Legion Post #642, the VFW and DAV Auxiliary, and Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in La Monte, MO.

Survivors include her nephew, Duane Barnett (Terry) of Warsaw, MO; one sister-in-law in Huntsville, AL; cousins on the East Coast and in Canada; and nieces and nephews on her husband's side.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Highland Sacred Gardens in Sedalia, MO, with full military honors.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
