Donna Marie Bobbitt

Donna Marie Bobbitt, 83, of Sedalia, MO passed away Friday, June 18, 2021, at her home. She was born on January 25, 1938, in Sedalia, MO the daughter of Lyman Boyer and Sara Melvina (Bruehl) Boyer, who preceded her in death.

In April of 1976, in Miami, OK she was united in marriage to Charles E. Bobbitt, who preceded her in death on March 31, 2010.

Donna was a homemaker. She enjoyed embroidering, gardening, canning, and coin collecting. She was a member of the VFW Post #2591 Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include seven children, LaDona Scheuer of Independence, MO, Myrtie Bartine of Sedalia, Byrtie Yearta (Bill) of Bates City, MO, David Bryant (Laura) of Temple, TX, Carolyn Carlile (John) of West Texas, TX, Lowell Bryant of Rogers, TX, and John Bryant of Sedalia; two brothers, Freddie Boyer (Alice) of Sedalia and Charles Wilson, Jr. (Amber) of Wheatland, MO; and a sister, Debbie Wilson of Sedalia; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, John David Carlile.

A Celebration of Life gathering with family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

Burial will be at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021.
