Donald Duane Timbers

Donald Duane Timbers, 90, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on August 15, 2024, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. He was born on April 27, 1934, in Nevada, MO, the son of Wesley and Ileene Timbers, who preceded him in death.

In July 1955, in Nevada, MO, he married Mary Alice Cribbett, who preceded him in death on February 5, 2002.

Donald was a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge of Sedalia. He was also a member of the Shriners since 1982. He owned and operated a painting and drywall company in Sedalia from 1970 to 2014.

Donald is survived by a daughter, Pamela June Crouch; a son, Duane Allan Timbers; three grandchildren, Rachel, Rusty, and Apollo; two great-grandchildren, Alice and Cordella; and his companion of 17 years, Shirley Wiley.

Besides his parents and wife, Donald is preceded in death by a son, David A. Timbers; a daughter, Teresa McMullen; a grandson, Travis McMullen; and several brothers and sisters.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

A Masonic service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel.

The burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia, MO.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
