Donald Earl Logan, 64 of Sedalia passed away December 4, 2013 at his home. He was born on November 22, 1949 in Sedalia a son of Ruben and Dorothy (Spires) Logan.
On May 30, 1970 he was united in marriage to Vaneeta Thompson, who survives of Cole Camp.
On February 16, 1987, he was united in marriage to Angela Vinson, who preceded him in death on August 3, 2013.
Donald worked for Pittsburgh Corning for 32 years as a tank operator. He retired on December 1, 2007. After retiring, he loved having his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and camping and drinking his beer. Donald served his country honorably in the US Army, Vietnam.
He is survived by five children, Ruben Logan of Stover , Maria Baumgarden of Versailles, Tabitha (Ricky) Monroe of Stover, Nathaneal (Janet) Logan of Camdenton and Amanda (Jamale) Logan of Sedalia; twelve grandchildren, Kaylee, Matthew, Ruben James, Brittany, Isaiah, Cortlyn, Aaliyah, Levi, Raymond Jr., Luke, Jae and Jonathan; two sisters, Naomi Schelp of Sedalia and Betty (Clyde) Upton of Green Ridge; two brothers, Vernon Logan and Roy (Lila) Logan both of Sedalia.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Tommy and Gene Logan.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Albert Reine officiating.
