Dona Leah Savard

Dona Leah Savard, 63, of Mora, MO, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Fair View Nursing Home in Sedalia. She was born on April 10, 1958 in Banning, CA the daughter of Donald R. Savard and Jacqueline I. (Cote) Savard who reside in Banning, CA

Dona worked for ABM in Sedalia for many years. She enjoyed coloring, swimming, watching television and especially loved getting together with friends and family for social gatherings and bar-b-ques.

Along with her parents she is survived by her significant companion, Jim Knoeferl of Mora, MO; a daughter, Dona Hamilton (Preston) of Sedalia; three sons, Marco Gomez (Eva) of Dresden, MO, Angel Gomez of Dresden, MO, and Donovan Gomez of Banning, CA; three grandchildren, Alexia, Sebastian, and Isabella; three step-grandchildren, Diego, Mariella, and Alondra; many step-great grandchildren; a sister, Darla Savard of Texas; four brothers, Donald Savard (Rosie) of Mexico, Daniel Savard, Dennis Savard, and Dale Savard all of Banning, CA; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Delia Savard.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish Sacred Heart Church.
