Diane M. Emerson

Diane M. Emerson, 70, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital of Kansas City in Kansas City, MO. On August 11, 1951, in New Franklin, MO, she was born the daughter of William Pinkett and Virginia (Spence) Pinkett, who preceded her in death.

On June 19, 1971, in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Albert L. Emerson, who resides in the home.

In addition to her husband, Albert, she is survived by two sons, Johnny Lyles and Robert Emerson; two sisters, Dorothy Mitchell and Phyllis Cline; and a brother, LeRoy Pinkett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Pinkett.

A private graveside service and burial will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia, with Pastor Noah Poole officiating.

Family and friends may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
