Diana Hamby

Diana Marie Hamby, 31, of Sedalia passed away May 5, 2017 at her home in Sedalia. She was born on March 31, 1986 in Salisaw, Oklahoma the daughter of Eldon Buen and Janet E. (Johnson) Hamby.

Diana was a 2004 graduate of the Apostolic Christian Academy in Sedalia. She worked for Bothwell Regional Health Center as an O.B. Technician. She enjoyed picnics, going to the lake, swimming, and shopping at the mall.

Survivors include, three children, Julia Ramirez, Alejandro Ramirez, and Micah Hamby all of Sedalia; her mother, Janet E. Hamby of Cole Camp; two sisters, Debra Andresen and her husband Richard of Sedalia, Melinda Hamby of Sedalia; two brothers, Lee Hamby of Montana and Bobby Johnson of Sedalia; maternal grandmother, Velma Johnson of Cole Camp; her companion Julio Ramirez of Sedalia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eldon Buen Hamby, maternal grandfather, Sam Johnson; paternal grandparents, Buen and Rebecca Hamby.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel, 1001 S. Limit Ave., with Richard Andresen officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Cooper, Mark Cooper, Julio Ramirez, Cody Andresen, Enrique Ramirez, and Jose Ramirez.

Honorary bearers will be Sean Frame, Jimmy Frame.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ramirez Children Fund in care of Rea Funerla Chapel.
