Dennis Lynn Delph, 67, of Otterville, MO passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021, in Boonville, MO. He was born on March 17, 1954 in Sedalia, MO the son of Jack Delph and Helen (Miller) Delph, who preceded him in death.
On June 12, 1998 in Sedalia he was united in marriage to Debra Schoen, who resides in the home.
Dennis was a 1972 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. After graduation he joined the United States Navy and served his country honorably for 23 years as a Navy Seal retiring in 1995. Dennis was currently working at the Isle of Capri Casino in Boonville at the time of his passing. Dennis enjoyed watching sports and was a avid St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs fan.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three children, Tony Delph of Georgia, Liana Bowser and Lynn Blake both of Jacksonville, FL; eight grandchildren; two step-sons, Adam Schoen of Otterville and Justin Schoen; and a step-daughter, Stacy Schoen of Kansas City, MO.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Delph.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2021, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO with full military honors by the United States Navy.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
