Obituary For Dennis LaBille

Dennis Lee LaBille, 64, of Smithton, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 13, 2013. He was born on February 26, 1949, in Kansas City, MO, a son of Joseph and Esther (Hubbert) LaBille. On February 18, 1968 in Smithton he was united in marriage to Donna L. Demand, who survives of Smithton. Then on June 30, 2002 in Smithton he was united in marriage to Ginger Lee Montgomery, who preceded him in death in August 2012.

He worked at Septagon Construction as Warehouse Manager for 33 years. Denny’s passion was building cars and he enjoyed watching Nascar. He served his country honorably in the US Navy, Vietnam.

He is survived by two children, Michael Todd LaBille and his wife Carolyn of Woodbury, MN and Dara Denise Wood and her husband Mike of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren, Jack, Aubrey “A.J.”, Lauren, Parker and Macey; one sister, Barbara White and her husband Martin of Sedalia; one brother, Richard “Brad” LaBille and his wife Vicki of Sedalia; one daughter-in-law, Megan LaBille of Smithton; one step-daughter, Madeline Montgomery Collins of Sedalia; and three step-grandchildren, Demitri, Camron, and Caydence.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jared Lee LaBille and a sister, Joyce Runyan.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Rev. Dan Page officiating.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time.

Burial will be in Smithton Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 2591.

Pallbearers will be Bob Zimmerschied, Fred Smith, Dale Monsees, Mike Brown, Justin Demand, Michael Wood, Stan Cotrell and Steve Smith.

Honorary bearers will be Danny Davis, Jim Wulff, Mike McCallen and Stanley Dueschle.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital of Kansas City or Benton County Hospice in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
