Obituary For Darrell Dean Bishop

Darrell Dean Bishop, 91, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Friday August 12, 2022, at Warsaw Health and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw. He was born on March 4, 1931 in Otterville, MO, the son of Robert Edward Bishop and Opal Marie (Burford) Bishop, who preceded him in death.

On November 11, 1951 in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Doris Jean Hicks, who preceded him in death in 1963.

Darrell was an avid Gunsmith and Builder. He loved going to gun shows, and talking anything about guns or ammo. Darrell was a member of the NRA, Rod and Gun Club and Parkview Christian Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Darrell worked for Pittsburg Corning for over 30 years before retiring.

Survivors include a daughter, Becky Crawford (Charlie), of Warsaw; two granddaughters, Morgan Kinnison (Chris) and Caitlyn Harless; and four great-grandchildren, Ryan Harless, Daniel Kinnison, Magnolia Harless, and Levi Kinnison.

In addition to his wife and parents, Darrell was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Tolbert Bishop; a sister, Arnola Marie Peterman..

A visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

A private burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia, MO.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
