Obituary For Cynthia Joy Woolery

Cynthia Joy Woolery, 60, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at her home. She was born on September 28, 1960, in Sedalia, MO, the daughter of Donald Ray Ellison and Mary Agnes (Fry) Ellison, who preceded her in death. On October 28, 1979, in Green Ridge, MO, she was united in marriage to Douglas Dean Woolery, who resides in the home. Cynthia worked as a Receptionist for David Malmo Motors for many years and later Vincent Apparel for several years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crafting. Cynthia especially loved spending time with her sons and grandsons. She was very close to her family, nieces, and nephews, and was there any time that they needed her. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Ryan Woolery (Amber) and Travis Woolery, all of Sedalia; two grandsons, Ryland and Ayden; three sisters, Linda Alcorn (Gail) of Ionia, MO; Sandy Jensen (David) of Springfield, MO, and Donna Rowland (Brad) of Sedalia; four brothers, Ray Ellison, Randy Ellison, Rusty Ellison (Stacey), and Ronald Ellison, all of Sedalia. Graveside service and burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2020, at Mt. Herman Cemetery with Rev. Jeremiah Greever officiating. Pallbearers will be Scott Woolery, Tony Woolery, Nathan Woolery, Willa Ellison, and Brady Rowland. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
