Cory Ryan Lewis, 26, of Warrensburg, MO passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at North Care Hospice House in Riverside, MO. He was born on November 17, 1988 in Sedalia, the son of Rick D. Lewis, who survives of Sedalia and Pamela (Bandelier) Lewis, who preceded him in death.
Cory graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 2006. He attended 3 years of college at CMSU and enjoyed being a self employed mechanic. Cory liked to work on cars and motorcycles with his specialty being Hondas. He enjoyed skateboarding, playing competitive soccer, spending time with his dog Sheila, and riding motorcycles with his friends. Cory always had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending quality time with his friends.
Besides his dad he is survived by his stepmother, Meagan Lewis and stepbrother, Avery Schmidt both of Sedalia. He is also survived by a sister, Brianna Lewis; paternal grandmother, Betty Lewis both of Columbia; five aunts, Vicki of Columbia, Nancy of Kansas City, Bonnie of Hannibal, Charlene of Belton, and Linda of Leavenworth, KS; and several cousins.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Buddy Lewis; maternal grandparents, Bob and Clara Bandelier.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m on Friday May 8, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Rev. Dan Hankins officiating.
The family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. until service time, at the funeral chapel.
Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mid-Missouri Human Society.
