Constance Ransdell

Constance "Patsy" Ransdell, 74, of Sedalia, MO passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at EW Thompson Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sedalia. She was born on May 20, 1942 in Beaumont, Texas.

On May 12, 1962 she was united in marriage to Riley Ransdell in Elkton, MD who survives of the home.

She loved her grandchildren dearly. She was an avid Royals and Chiefs fan and loved going to the casinos. She also was an excellent cook and enjoyed bowling. The best word to describe Patsy was, "Sweet."

Patsy honorably served in the US Navy. After her Navy service she supported her husband as a faithful Navy wife for 55 years.

Beside her husband she is survived by two children, Jenny Force (John) of Sedalia, MO and Trish Dillon (Mark) of Knob Noster, MO; five grandchildren, Jackie, Chris, Shaun, Jeffry, and Paul; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Miranda Ransdell.

There will be a reception in her honor at her home, 2204 E 9th St, Sedalia, MO, on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Friends and relatives are invited. Patsy will be interred at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Higginsville, MO, with full military honors, at a later date.
