Clifford Lee Storey Jr., 74, of Sedalia, formerly Jeannette, PA, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Missouri Heart Center in Sedalia, MO. On December 29, 1947, he was born in Jeannette, PA, the son of Clifford Lee Storey Sr. and Emma (Davis) Storey, who preceded him in death. On June 12, 1976, in Jeannette, PA, he was united in marriage to Marcie Ann Helwig, who preceded him in death on October 14, 2012. Before his retirement Clifford, commonly referred to as “Skip,” Storey fulfilled life of helping others and enjoyed volunteering for various organizations in his hometown. Alongside working for the Elliott Co. of Jeannette PA and Schwan’s Frozen Foods, Skip was a long-time volunteer firefighter, obtaining the rank of Chief for the Grandview Volunteer Fire Department. He had a passion for volunteering at the fire department and loved being there throughout his free time. In addition, he enjoyed dressing up as Santa during the holidays to surprise children at events and the local mall. After retirement, Skip drove a shuttle service for International Soldiers attending school at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Barkefelt (Yale) of Sedalia; two sons, Adam Storey of Elkton, MD and Benjamin Storey (Garrett Oliveros) of Pittsburg, PA.; a brother, William Storey (Sue) of Latrobe, PA; six grandchildren, Gracie, Yale, Jr., Faith, Ethan, Brandon, and Jackson, and numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Bella. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Storey, and sister, Leann Storey. There will be no formal services held at this time.
