Clarine Ann Eckhoff, 67, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born on November 26, 1955, in Sedalia, the daughter of Lawrence Reusch and Alberta (Twenter) Reusch, who preceded her in death.
On October 24, 1975, in Banner, MO, she was united in marriage to Russell Eckhoff, who resides in the home.
Clarine was a 1974 graduate of Stover High School. She worked as a cook at North 65 Cafe. She was known for her delicious homemade food. Clarine enjoyed baking pies, cooking, playing cards, crocheting, being outdoors gardening, and taking care of her home. Clarine especially loved spending time with her family and had a special love for her four-legged fur babies.
In addition to her husband, Clarine is survived by three children, Douglas Eckhoff, David Eckhoff (Twilah Aslin), and Anna Spellmeyer (Virgil), all of Sedalia; three grandchildren, Lauren, Tim, and Jeff; four sisters, Brenda Scherlinger (Randy) of Bosworth, MO, Gloria Jackson (Russell) of Lincoln, MO, Emily Newman of Versailles, MO, and Linda Reusch of Versailles; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will have a celebration of life gathering with family and friends from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Hubbard Park, Sedalia.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics Foundation in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
