Clarence Raymond Friedly, 90, of Sedalia passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Good Samaritan Care Center in Cole Camp, MO. He was born on January 15, 1927 in Ionia, MO the son of David Friedly Sr. and Amanda Josephine Browning, who preceded him in death.
On December 28, 1958 in Independence, MO he was united in marriage to Ruth Wehrman, who preceded him in death.
Clarence worked for Meadow Gold Dairy for almost 40 years and later worked at Bothwell Regional Health Center until retirement. He loved to golf, fish and was an accomplished bowler. He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
Survivors include two daughters, Lybbie Carpenter of Sedalia and Cindy Fox of Sedalia; five grandchildren, Brittni, Matthew, Patrick, Elizabeth and Mari Heather; and numerous great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Ruth, he is also preceded in death by a brother, John D. Friedly; two sisters, Dorothy Friedly and Iola Mullins; a daughter, Barbara Green.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Abundant Harvest Church with Tony and Merri Kroeger officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Missouri Army National Guard.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.
