Christopher Schroeder

Christopher Thomas Hill Schroeder, 47, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO. He was born on January 20, 1970 in Jackson County, MO, the son of Ardus and Nettie (Bradley) Schroeder, who preceded him in death.

Chris worked in maintenance at Tyson Foods for four years. He enjoyed life and had many hobbies and interests. He loved playing with his dogs, helping people in any way he could, working in his shop, and visiting with family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandson, fishing, BBQs, bonfires, and this list goes on... He had such a big heart and was always there for anyone who needed him. He never told anyone, "No." Chris was only 47 years young when he passed. He was taken way too soon and will truly be missed and loved by all who knew him.

Survivors include his fiance, Jennifer Arndt of Sedalia; two step daughters, Megan and Rebecca Gautier of Sedalia; a grandson, Aaron Neil Gautier of Sedalia; future in-laws, Rufus and Peggy Gautier of Sedalia; and several brother and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Alvin Sipe officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Honorary bearers will be Tim Johnson, John Bell, Jason Sipe, George Reynolds, and Joseph Herrandez.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sedalia Animal Shelter in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
