Christopher Michael Bosworth

Christopher Michael Bosworth, 50, of Sedalia, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024, at his home in Sedalia. He was born on April 15, 1974, in Honolulu, HI, the son of Gregory Wayne Bosworth, who resides in Kansas City, MO, and Melva Jean (Vinson) Bosworth, who preceded him in death.

Christopher, a man of remarkable sociability, possessed a heart that was always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Despite his lifelong battle with diabetes, Christopher's spirit remained undimmed, his social life with family and friends unaffected. His family held a special place in his heart, and he cherished every opportunity to gather with them and his friends. Christopher found joy in collecting vintage records and memorabilia, and he had a deep love for fishing and his beloved pet, Miley.

In addition to his dad, Christopher is survived by a sister, Stephanie Yeager of Sedalia; two brothers, Jeffrey Bosworth of Kansas City, MO, and Shawn Bosworth of St. Joseph, MO; two nieces, Aalea Yeager of Kansas City, MO, and Nikita Yeager of Scottsdale, AZ; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his mother, Christopher was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mable Vinson and Melvin Vinson, and paternal grandparents, Richard Wayne and Wuanita Bosworth.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Rea Funeral Chapel , with Chaplain Chris Traffanstedt officiating.

A gathering time with family and friends will be held one-half hour prior to the service.

In honor of Christopher and his cousin Angela Sherman, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or the family in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
