Obituary For Christine Diana Jones

Christine Diana Jones, 67, of Stover, MO passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at her home. She was born on September 30, 1952 in Tuscumbia, MO the daughter of Juanita (Strother) Metcalf, who preceded her in death.

She was a 1987 graduate of Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg where she attained her Bachelors degree in social work. Christine was employed by the Center for Human Services in Sedalia as a social worker. She later worked for Wal-Mart for 10 years in the stationary department. Christine enjoyed watching MSNBC News and loved spending time with her grandkids. She especially loved her beloved dog, Goldie.

Survivors include her daughter, Laurie Hillman (Patrick) of La Monte, MO; two grandsons, Lucas and Logan Hillman; granddaughter, Alexa Hillman; niece, Sharon Autry; nephew, Brian Autry; and special nephew, Jeremy Vazquez.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Alma Strother; a brother, Robert Autry; and a sister, Sharon Wells.

A Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Juvenile Diabetes Association in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

    Love Lives On Author Unknown The aunt we love remains with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, far as long as there is memory, she'll live on in our hearts.
