Charlotte Renee Stockton

Charlotte Renee Stockton, 64, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. She was born on March 14, 1960, in North Little Rock, AR, the daughter of John Thomas Pike and Janice C. (Reeves) Pike, who preceded her in death.

She was united in marriage to David W. Stockton on August 3, 1979, in Little Rock, AR, who resides in the home.

Charlotte graduated from Oak Grove High School in North Little Rock, AR, in 1978. She was a member of Parkview Christian Church in Sedalia. Charlotte dedicated her life to taking care of others and was very devoted to her grandchildren. She collected anything related to sea turtles and Disney. She spent countless hours coloring and loved to visit the beach.

In addition to her husband, Charlotte is survived by two sons, John Stockton (Krista) of Russellville, AR, and Wesley Stockton of Dover, AR; five grandchildren, Grant, Alexa, Adriane, Taryn, and Amelia; a sister, Angie McKee of Maumelle, AR; two nephews, Geronimo and Jericho McKee; and her beloved cat "Oggie Blue."

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Patricia Stockton.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Rea Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Rodney Brown officiating.

In lieu of plants and flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sea Turtle Conservation and/or to the Missouri Department of Conservation in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
