Obituary For Charlie Thomas Stockstill, Jr.

Charles Thomas Stockstill Jr., 62, of Sedalia, MO passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, at his home. He was born on January 27, 1959, in Sedalia, the son of Charles Thomas Stockstill Sr., who preceded him in death, and Dolores Jean (Dillon) Stockstill, who resides in the home.

Charlie was a 1977, graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. He was owner and operator of the Cheese Board Deli in Sedalia for over 20 years. Charlie enjoyed art, going to concerts, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan. He was interested in traveling and enjoyed trying out new and different foods. Charlie especially loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother he is survived by a brother, Mark Stockstill of Sedalia; a nephew, Mathew Stockstill of Portland, OR; a niece, Rachel Stockstill of Sedalia; and two great nieces, Kylie and Kaitlyn Moreno.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2021, at Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Honorary bearers will be Mike Arnold, Jeff McCrea, and Steve Moore.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
