September 24, 1952 — October 26, 2024

Carol Ann Brown, 72, of Sedalia, MO, peacefully passed away at her home on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Born on September 24, 1952, in Sedalia, she was the beloved daughter of Wyatt and Imogene (Jones) Jackson, both of whom preceded her in death.

On July 25, 1981, Carol was united in marriage to Charles Brown, who continues to reside in their home.

A graduate of Smith-Cotton High School in 1971, Carol's career began at J.A. Lamy's Manufacturing Co., where she worked from 1984 until its closure in 1998. In 2002, she found her true calling in childcare, joining Melita Day Nursery, where she lovingly nurtured children until her retirement in 2016 due to health issues. Carol had a zest for life; she delighted in shopping, baking her renowned sugar cookies and popcorn balls, and decorating her home for every holiday.
