Obituary For Brenda Jean White

Brenda Jean White, 61, of Sedalia passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at her home. She was born on March 13, 1960, in Sedalia the daughter of Darrell Crider, of Sunrise Beach, MO and Bonnie (Ellison) Crider, who preceded her in death.

On October 10, 1991, in Green Ridge, MO she was united in marriage to Dean Michael White, who resides in the home.

Brenda graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1976. She attended State Fair Community College for 2 years earning Secretarial and Data Entry Certifications. Brenda was a Nurse's Aid from 1974 to 1991.She attended New Life Church and previously Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was actively involved in jail ministries, prison ministries, and a long time member of Celebrate Recovery. Brenda loved doing mission work in Sedalia and looked forward to attending Mardi Gras in Louisiana to do face painting while she ministered. She worked for Don's Truck and Towing for 26 years before retiring in 2020. Brenda was an avid reader and loved Bible study. She enjoyed talking theology with family and friends, spending time with her grandchildren and family.

In addition to her husband and father she is survived by two sons, Mathew White (Jessica) and Jacob White (Gabrielle) of Sedalia; a daughter, Angel Neeley of Sedalia; four brothers, Darrel E. Crider, of Louisiana, Daniel A. Crider (Sherry) of Moberly, MO, Russell R. Crider (Connie) of Wentzville, MO, and Eugene R. Crider of Jefferson City, MO; five grandchildren, Sialas, Elyssa, Calder, Brittany, and Brooke; three aunts; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Dewey and Ester Crider and her maternal grandparents, Gene and Alberta Ellison.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Tim Rehmer officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association in care of Rea Funeral Chapel or www.als.org.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
