Obituary For Brady Michael McClintock

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Brady Michael McClintock, who left us far too soon at the age of 19, on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, following a tragic automobile accident in Kennesaw, GA. Brady was born on May 25, 2004, in Joplin, MO.

A memorial service commemorating Brady will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Carterville Christian Church, Carterville, MO, with Pastor Austin Wesse presiding. Following the service, there will be a visitation with the family.

Brady is deeply missed by his mother, Ashley Allen of Webb City, MO; his father, Michael McClintock and “bonus mom” Linda (Sweet) McClintock of Carterville, MO. He is cherished by his maternal grandparents, Bob and Becky Allen, of Shell Knob, MO; paternal grandparents, Linda S. McClintock of Carthage, MO, and Roger McClintock of Carterville, MO. Additionally, Brady is cherished by his Aunt Megan Tabereaux; Uncle Justin Allen; cousins, Aubrey McKnight, Lukas, Tate, and Tyler Tabereaux, and Justin Allen, Jr.; step-grandmother, Betty Sweet, of Galena, KS; stepbrothers, Jacob Perry and Braxton Perry (Megan); nephew Riot Perry and niece Rayve Perry.

Brady was preceded by the loss of his younger brother, Christian Heady, and his step-grandfather, Charles Sweet.

Brady was a brilliant young man, and his journey was marked by fearless spirit and unyielding curiosity. In December of 2021, he achieved his High School Equivalence with flying colors, clinching the highest total score on the test for that year and the second highest on record. While sports may not have been his strength, he approached each endeavor with gusto, from football to basketball, baseball, and beyond. Even on the greens of the golf course, Brady's willingness to try his hand at anything demonstrated his adventurous nature. His venture into activities like tennis, soccer, and speech and debate showcased his willingness to explore new horizons. Brady's passion for board games was undeniable. He and his stepmother, Linda, would eagerly spend countless hours engaged in gameplay, particularly during the winter months. Although Brady's father occasionally joined in, he often found himself on the losing end.

However, amongst his array of interests, Brady's true essence was found in the harmonies of music. Writing music and performing became his avid passion. Regardless of the genre, he found joy in the melodies that resonated with his soul. From country tunes to the rhythmic beats of rap, Brady's eclectic taste in music knew no bounds. His love for concerts not only deepened his bond with his Mother, but also created unforgettable moments shared with loved ones, such as the Smashing Pumpkins concert he attended last August with his Dad.

To Brady, friendship was sacred. His circle of friends was his chosen family, and they fondly remember him as the ultimate "hype man". He lifted spirits with his encouragement and infectious smile. Merely calling him funny would be an understatement. Brady had a knack for turning any moment into a riot of laughter, brightening up any room with his humor.

Beyond his humor and charisma, Brady possessed a heart of gold. He would give the shirt off his back without a second thought to anyone in need. He was a true blessing to all who knew him. His legacy will live on through the music he loved and poured his heart and soul into.
