Bonnie Stivers

Bonnie Lucillelia Stivers, 71, of Sedalia passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Boone Hospital, Columbia, MO. She was born on November 2, 1942, a daughter of Roy and Estilee (Snow) Burris.

Bonnie enjoyed nature, flowers, watching humming birds, being outdoors, and cooking.

She is survived by two daughters, Heather Stringer and her husband Greg of Sedalia, and Shannon Stivers of Sedalia; one sister, Ceola Jordan of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren, Amber, Shannon, Edward, Nancy, and Douglas Richard; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Charleen Tittle; and one grandson, Douglas James.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Ancil Kile officiating.

The family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to service.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.

Pallbearers will be Edward Groves, Justin Spellmeyer, Greg Stringer, Korey Moon, Douglas Stivers, and Henry Stivers.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society in Care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
