Beverly Harvey

Beverly Ann Harvey, 85, of Sedalia, MO, formerly of Green Ridge MO, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was born on July 26, 1931 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Garnet Lyman and Lillian Janet (Fowler) Haggard, who preceded her in death.

On September 18, 1949 at First Christian Church, Sedalia she was united in marriage to John Steven Harvey, Jr. who preceded her in death on August 16, 2015.

Beverly was a member of First Christian Church, Sedalia, Daughters of the American Revolution, Green Ridge Garden Club, and a former member of the Green Ridge City Council. She worked for Inter-State Studios, PIP Printing, and Rival Manufacturing in Sedalia. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, family vacations in Branson, and entertaining all her family and friends.

She is survived by four daughters, Linda Reed (George) of Plainview, TX, Julia Ray of Sedalia, Leslie Broaddus (Bill) of Green Ridge, and Joan Almaguer of Normal IL; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; four sisters, Barbara Maus of Windsor, CA, Bonnie Ryerson of Clinton, IA, Brenda Haggard of Redwood City, CA, and Beatrice Kunde of Rock Falls, IL; and a brother-in-law, Vernon "Bones" Harvey of Sedalia.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at First Christian Church, Sedalia, with Rev. Dr. Chad McMullin officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the church. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Honorary bearers will be Otis Thomas and George Whitman

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to First Christian Church or to a charity of the donor's choice in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
