Obituary For Betty Jean Estes

Betty Jean Estes, 74, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born on October 13, 1944 in Jefferson City, MO, the daughter of Gilbert and Bonnie (Moore) Luper, who preceded her in death.

On September 2, 1977 in Sedalia, MO, she was united in marriage to James Franklin Estes, who preceded her in death.

She enjoyed watching television and working in the yard.

Survivors include three sons, Michael Rayl of Sedalia, Stephen Rayl of Tightwad, and Brian Estes (Susan) of Cabot, AR; four brothers, Dick Luper (Val) of Hughsville, MO; Eddie Luper (Annalee) of Hughsville, MO, David Stiffarm of Colorado, and Larry Stiffarm (Becky) of Grain Valley, MO; one sister, Lori Kliethermes (Tom) of Fairmont, WV; four grandchildren, Ty Rayl, Zachary Rayl, Hannah Estes, and Brinna Estes; and one great-grandson, Braydon.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 at Syracuse Cemetery, Syracuse, MO with Rev. Dan Hankins officiating.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Rayl, Michael Rayl, Brian Estes, Eddie Luper, Larry Stiffarm, and Donnie Luper.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
