Benjamin Jurgensen

Benjamin A. "Bennie" Jurgensen, 75, of Sedalia, MO passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. He was born on September 8, 1946 in Wahoo, NE the son of Benjamin H. Jurgensen and Lillian K. (Siemsen) Jurgensen, who preceded him in death.

In March of 1980 he was united in marriage to Darlene Jurgensen, who preceded him in death on October 23, 2021.

Bennie worked for Lee/Neet Products for many years. He enjoyed archery shooting and deer hunting. Bennie and his wife Darlene enjoyed traveling out west. They especially loved going to Yellowstone National Park and Aspen, CO and being outdoors.

Survivors include a brother, Donald J. Jurgensen of Sedalia.

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Arnold Jurgensen; and a sister, Bernice Jurgensen.

A memorial graveside service and burial will be held at 1:30 p.m Monday, November 8, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Rusty Thomas officiating.

There will be no formal visitation held.

Honorary bearers will be grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
