Belinda Kay Seamon, 70, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on April 6, 2023, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born on August 26, 1952, in Sedalia, the daughter of Arthur L. McCune and Cleo L. (Bell) McCune, who preceded her in death.
Belinda was a 1970 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. She was currently working in food service at the Sedalia Middle School. Belinda never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. She was a devout Christian and always professed her love for Jesus. She loved to spend time with family as they were her life. Belinda will be severely missed by all.
Belinda is survived by three children, Maggie Freitas (Tony) of Sedalia, Steven Young of Sedalia, and Ryan Young of Lee's Summit, MO; two siblings, Charles McCune (Allen) of San Francisco, CA, and Markie Hart (Mike) of Sedalia; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kaylee, Tyler, Karli, Kobe, Jack, Gracelynn, and Clay; four great-grandchildren, Rhett, Ashton, Hallie, and Luke.
In addition to her parents, Belinda was preceded in death by a son Robby Young, and a brother Harry McCune in infancy.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Rea Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Travis Battershell officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia, MO.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sedalia Animal Shelter in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
