Beatrice Mae Curtiss

Beatrice Mae Curtiss, 89, of Sedalia, MO passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born on September 4, 1931 in Sweet Springs, MO the daughter of Adolf and Bessie Mae (Houchens) Pinkepank, who preceded her in death.

On December 18, 1953 in Sedalia, MO she was united in marriage to William Leo Curtiss, who preceded her in death April 15, 1993.

Bea was a long time member of Parkview Christian Church, Sedalia. She was a member of the Be Forever Young group. Bea was an avid collector of Elvis Presley memorabilia. She enjoyed going on outings and dinning out with her friends.

Surviving are her best friend, neighbor, and partner in crime, Diane Maddix of Sedalia; a cousin, Bob Houchens of Godfrey, IL; and her four legged fur baby "Pepper", who was adopted by Fair View Nursing Home upon her passing.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Parkview Christian Church with Rev. Jeff Randleman officiating.

A visitation time will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia, MO.

Pallbearers will be Joel Billbury, Leon Cumpton, Richard Simon, and Tom Hodges.

Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Christian Church, Sedalia, or the Show-Me-Christian Youth Home, in La Monte, MO in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
