Obituary For Barbara Kay Mabry
Barbara Kay Mabry, 80, of Sedalia, MO passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born on June 4, 1941 in Sedalia, the daughter of James Morgan Billings and Lela Mae (Stevenson) Billings, who preceded her in death.
On June 20, 1959 in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Rev. Sidney "Sid" K. Mabry, Jr, who preceded her in death on December 12, 2014.
Barbara and her husband, Sid traveled together for many years as the "Deliverance Time Singers" and made a long play religious album of their favorite songs. She was passionate about Children's Ministry and leading them to Christ. Barbara was involved in all things for her Lord and Savior. Whether that be Bible School, Women's Ministry, Sunday School or a prayer with a stranger or friend. Her mission along side her husband was to share the message of Jesus Christ.
She is survived by two children, Chris (Kim) Mabry, and Molly Mabry all of Sedalia; four grandchildren, Erica, Erin, Taylor and Bailey; seven great grandchildren, Tayton, Zane, Ashleigh, Ryder, Hattie Belle, Tucker, and Bennett; two sisters, Sherry Vinson of Sedalia, and Sisol Hendrickson, of Tuscon, AZ; four brothers, James Billings of Troy, TX, William Billings of Pittsburgh, PA, Robert Billings of Troy, TX, and Daniel Hendrickson of Sedalia.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Sidney Mabry; and a brother, Michael Billings.
A memorial graveside service will and burial be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2021 at Crown Hill Cemetery with Pastor Logan Patrick.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Rea Funeral Chapel.
