Barbara Hague

Barbara L. Hague, 85, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Winchester Meadows Enhanced Living Center. She was born on April 20, 1929 in Des Moines, Iowa, a daughter of Hubert and Martha (Hupp) Hawks.

Barbara enjoyed talking to her friends and family on the phone. She also enjoyed listening to jazz, Dixieland, and big band music.

She is survived by two children, Heidi Teubert (Wyatt) of Westbrook, CT, and David Hague (Elizabeth) of Sedalia, MO; and four grandchildren, Eric, Nadya, Dennis, and Mickey.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Walters; and two brothers, Richard and Donald Hawks.

A gathering of friends and family for a reception will begin at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the home of Dave and Elizabeth Hague.

The family strongly requests that memorials be given to Crossroads Hospice in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, or to VISTA (for autism), the Vocational and Life Skill Center that her grandson, Mickey, attends.
