Barbara Forsythe Mcguire

Barbara Forsythe McGuire, 55, of Forrest, MS, formerly of Sedalia, MO, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022 in Jacskon, MS. She was born on June 24, 1965 in San Bernadino, CA the daughter of Cecil William Oliver and Helen Louise (Vice) Oliver, who preceded her in death.

Barb worked at Tyson Foods in Sedalia as a supervisor for 18 years. She enjoyed quilting and crafts. Barb made over 1,000 face masks during the COVID-19 pandemic and gave them away at no charge. She promoted her hand made crafts through her website www.hugs_Bluv.com. She sent her free gifts of love all over the country. Barb had many friends and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include a brother, Robert Oliver of Sedalia; her companion, James Allen Brown of Forrest, MS; her adopted sister, Ruth Oliver, of Benton, AR; a niece, Sherri L. Oliver of Lavaca, AR; two nephews, Justin and Joshua Oliver; and many close friends in Missouri and Mississippi.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a brother, William Anthony Oliver.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2022 at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
