Avery Crouch

Avery G. Crouch, 91, of Sedalia passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born September 11th, 1922 near Edwards, MO, a daughter of Willie B. and Viola Howard Dority.

On June 21st 1942, in Edwards, MO she was united in marriage to Ray C. Crouch, who preceded her in death.

Avery enjoyed cooking for family and friends and was an avid gardener. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church for over 50 years.

She is survived by one daughter, Jane Caldwell and her husband David of Sedalia; one sister, Doris Green of Sedalia; and one brother, Wayne Dority and his wife Imogene of Edwards, MO. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Loren and Wyatt Dority.

A graveside service will be held at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia, with the Rev. Rick Adams officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dority Cemetery in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
