Arthur Frank Freeman, 67, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at his home. He was born on November 13, 1949 in Vineland, NJ, the son of John Sherman and Hazel Elaine (Smith) Freeman Sr., who preceded him in death.
On May 21, 2005, in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Marcia Fricke, who survives of the home.
Art worked for many years as an electronics technician for the Roseville Telephone Company in California before retiring and moved to Missouri . He personally built and flew his own ultralight Challenger II airplane and developed a website to aid in the plane's construction. He was an avid genealogist and enjoyed helping many people trace their lineage. He also enjoyed playing online golf with his brother, John.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Gabrielle Freeman of Clinton, MO; two sisters, Carol Plouffe and Wilma Orchard, both of Dalton, MA; and his brother, John Freeman, Jr. of Deepwater, MO.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brad Freeman.
A private burial of ashes will be at Macks Creek Cemetery at a later date.
Cremation services are under the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
