Arneta Lucille Fisher

Arneta Lucille Fisher, 94, of Sedalia, MO, formerly of Elsberry, MO, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center, Sedalia. She was born on March 24, 1929, in Monmouth, IL, the daughter of William C. McKee and E. Leota (Harvey) McKee, who preceded her in death.

On December 27, 1951, she was united in marriage to Merle Fisher, who resides in Sedalia.

Arneta lived on a farm in Elsberry, MO, for most of her adult life. She was employed at a garment factory, Clark and McNeil Grocery, Benner Tea CO., Lincoln County R II School, and Lincoln County R IV School. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Elsberry, MO. After retiring, most days were spent working on the farm. She cared for numerous animals, loved canning, and cared for a large garden.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Sue Barnes of O'Fallon, MO, and Amy Lake and her husband David of Sedalia; three grandchildren, Matt Barnes (Jen Eagan), Jonathan Lake (Brandy), and Michael Lake (Lauren); two great-grandsons, Logan and Jack, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Arneta was preceded. by three brothers, Jack, Bill, and James McKee; three sisters, Carlene McKee, Jeanne Kennedy, and Dorothy Livingston; and a nephew, Sean McKee

A memorial service will be planned by the family at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of Elsberry, MO.

Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO.
