Anna Louise Petree

Anna Louise Petree, 87, of Sedalia, MO was called home to our Lord on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 28, 1933, in Sedalia, the daughter of William and Sophia (Turpin) Colvin, who preceded her in death.

On March 6, 1954, at Broadway Presbyterian Church, Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Orval Petree, Sr., who preceded her in death on November 13, 1981.

Anna was first and foremost a mom and homemaker. She was a Home Interior Consultant, and a food service worker for the Sedalia #200 School District and Bothwell Regional Health Center. Anna owned and operated Ann's Cleaning Service in Sedalia. She enjoyed flower gardening, collecting magazines, going to the casinos and scratching lottery tickets. She loved going on daily cruises around Sedalia and listening to gospel and classic country music. Anna's true love, pride and joy were her children and family. She loved her Lord and Savior and she taught her children about putting God first in their life. Anna will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by two sons, Orval Petree, Jr. (Julie) and Mitchell Petree (Debbie); one step-son, Gary Petree (Juanita); four daughters, Christine Staus (Andy), Cyndi Knight-Petree, Cheryl Bell (Mike), Jami Cramer (Dudley) all of Sedalia; 22 grandchildren, Justin Staus, Lucas Staus, Jason Pate, Megan Taber, Kelly Petree, Opie Petree, Rachael Bell, Erica McNease, Sarah Bell, Susan Bell, Lachelle Krumroy, Joshua Petree, Jessica Stetzenbach, Chelsea Petree, Cassie Sanders, Christie Petree, Dexter Cramer, Shayla Cramer, Melissa Hemme, Bobbie Priesendorf, Monica Lancaster and Carma Petree; 31 great grandchildren, Tanner Staus, Avery Staus, Ethyn Pate, Seriah Taber, CJ Taber, Orvy Petree, Oakes Petree, Otis Petree, Sophia McNease, Peyton Brooks, Prentice Brooks, Kailani Taylor, Alexus Krumroy, RaeQuan Williams, Jonathon Krumroy, Anthony Krumroy, Ivan Banuelos, Kobyn Petree, Hazelee Petree, Annamarie Stetzenbach, Joelle Stetzenbach, Ayden Sanders, Dillon Sanders, Naomi Bell, Jacoby Bell, Arianna Cramer, Mathew Brandkamp, Stephen Brandkamp, Mason Lancaster, Karley Nosich, and Shayla Kindle; a great great granddaughter, Annie Sanders; a sister-in-law, Sharon Colvin.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Joseph Petree; two brothers, William Colvin and Aullnie Colvin; a sister-in-law, Martha Colvin.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Rusty Thomas officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia.

Pallbearers will be Jason Pate, Joshua Petree, Justin Staus, Mitchell Petree, Opie Petree, and Dexter Cramer.

Honorary bearers will be Orval Petree, Jr., Lucas Staus, Andy Staus, Mike Bell, Corey Taber, and Dudley Cramer.
