Ann H. Anderson

Ann H. Anderson, 89, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO. She was born on March 25, 1936, in Sedalia, the daughter of Wesley M. Harding and Sylva B. (Ray) Harding, who preceded her in death.

On November 2, 1984, in Sedalia, MO, she was united in marriage to Donald Anderson, who preceded her in death.

Ann was a proud graduate of Green Ridge High School, Class of 1954. She worked at Inter-State Studios for many years. A devoted Kansas City Royals fan, Ann enjoyed family gatherings and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren at the Missouri State Fair. She took great pleasure in being outdoors, gardening, planting flowers, and relaxing on her patio.

Ann is survived by two children, Sammi Marvel (LeRoy) of Liberty, MO, and Chris Anderson of Sedalia; five grandchildren, Jason, D.J.(Nikki), Amanda (Elliott); five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; two step-grandsons, Michael and Taylor; a brother, Mac Harding of Green Ridge, MO; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Ann was preceded in death by a son, Mark Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dianna Marcum officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

A private family burial will be held at a later date in Green Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of plants and flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
