Anita L. Hutcheson, 61, of Sedalia, MO passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO. She was born on November 17, 1960 in Denver, CO the daughter of Richard Geer David and Betty Lou (Mullens) David, who preceded her in death. On January 14, 2005 in Warrensburg, MO she was united in marriage to Roy Dale Hutcheson, who resides in the home. Anita was a 1979 graduate of Green Ridge High School where she made many lifelong friends. She enjoyed photography and was a member of the Mid-Mo Photo Club. As a young woman Anita dedicated her life to the Lord and showing His love; displayed through the love she had for her husband, raising her two boys to be Godly men, and caring for others’ children as if they were her own. She was a member of Camp Branch Baptist Church. She had a passion for sharing the love of Christ through teaching and mentoring; over the years she taught many Bible studies, Vacation Bible School, and Sunday School classes. She lived her life placing her faith, family, and friends above all else. Along with her husband Dale, she is survived by two sons, Nathaniel Nevels (Stephanie) of Battlefield, MO and Thaddeus Nevels of Sedalia; a sister, Pam Lange (Norman) of Sedalia; a step-sister, Angie Enochs (Robert); three step-brothers, Mike Proctor (Tresa), Steve Proctor (Lynn), and Scott Proctor (Kim) all of Harrisburg, MO; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Mary Lou (Proctor) David. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Rob Ayers, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2022 at the chapel. There will be no graveside service. Memorial contributions may be made to Birthright Inc-Pettis County in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
