Obituary For Angela M. Poundstone

Angela “Angie” Maria (Rialti) Poundstone, 38, of Riverside, Missouri , passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital with her family by her side. She was born to Robert T. and Ruth E. (Long) Rialti on June 25, 1975.

In October of 2007, she was united in marriage with her husband, Nathan L. Poundstone.

Angie graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1993. She graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Environmental Sciences and Nutrition in 1999 and later received her Master’s degree from the University of Kansas in Dietetics and Nutrition. She worked as a clinical dietician for Bioscrip. Angie was a member of the family at Overland Park Church of the Nazarene and was an avid Mizzou fan.

She is survived by her husband and mother; her four brothers, Rob Rialti, Jr. and his wife Lori of Sedalia, Gary Rialti and his wife Delora of Olathe, KS, Terry Rialti and his wife Debbie of Olathe, KS and Brian Rialti and his wife Crystal of Lee’s Summit, MO; her sister, Ginger Furnell and her husband Mark of Nashville, TN; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her father in-law, Bob Poundstone of Cedar Rapids, IA; her sister in-law, Jodi Dufoe and her husband Mike of Cedar Rapids; her brother in-law, Seth and his wife Meghan of Minneapolis, MN; and her step-daughter Alexis Poundstone of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her father; her brother, Kevin O’Bannon; and her sister, Paula Spry.

A funeral service to honor Angie will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, April 28, 2014 at Broadway Presbyterian Church in Sedalia with Pastor Phil Hamner officiating.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Rea Funeral Chapel in Sedalia.

Spending time with family and friends were Angie’s passion and delight, and she will be dearly missed the same.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, where Angie received wonderful and compassionate care, as she battled her illness.
