Obituary For Amy Lynn Jordan

Amy Lynn Jordan, 43, of Warrensburg, MO formerly of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. She was born on March 15, 1977 in Knob Noster, MO the daughter of Isaac Eugene and Vernice Jordan, who reside in Sedalia and Sally Ann Orre, who preceded her in death.

Amy worked in Management in the restaurant industry for many years. She was a caregiver, loving to take care of people. Amy loved all animals, cooking and especially loved spending time with her family and friends. Amy was loved by all who knew her and will greatly missed.

In addition to her parents she is survived by a son, Xavier Penalver of Mashpee, MA; a daughter, Kendra L. Jordan of Warrensburg; six brothers, Anthony Townsend of Columbia, MO, Earl and Leonard Townsend of Marietta, GA, Robert J. Collins of Arkansas, Robert Kepner of Waterville, NY, and Anthony Mandoza of Ashville, NC; three sisters, Pamela Townsend of Columbia, MO, Nancy Black of Austell, GA, and Minister Lela Jackson of Decatur, AL; and a very special friend, Harold Washington, Jr. of Knob Noster, MO; two nieces who were like sisters, Nichole Williams and Tamika Simms; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and two aunts, Connie (Bill) Goaferfki, of Bayonne, NJ, and Clara (Rance) Stahl of Billings, MT.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sally A. (Orre) Harris; paternal grandparents, Isaac H. and Mamie L. Jordan; maternal grandparents, Leonard and Dorothy Orre; two sisters, Starlotta Orre and Dawn Abraham.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Williams and Minister Lela Jackson officiating.

A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Family is encouraging guests to wear masks for gathering.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia, MO.
