Obituary For Ami Jo Green

Ami Jo Green, 41, of Sedalia, MO passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021, at her home. She was born on April 27, 1980, in Sedalia, the daughter of Joe E. & Pam Crafton and Nancy B. (Pritchard) Crafton, who reside in Sedalia.

On June 5, 2021, in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Roger Green, who resides in the home.

Ami was a 1998 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. She received her bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice and psychology in 2001 from Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg. Ami was a member of LifePointe Church, Sedalia. She loved to be involved in her church! She volunteered through Mission outreach, the Emergency Relief Team and the Ladies Kitchen Crew. She worked for 18 years at Mazzio's Pizza as a waitress and left as a manager. Ami enjoyed traveling, flower gardening, and crafting. She loved making crafts for her family and friends. Her favorite thing to do was hanging out with her family. Ami was known for being the most giving and selfless person. She would do anything for anybody in need.

In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by a daughter, Chloee Crafton of Sedalia; a brother, Nick Crafton of Kansas City, MO; a step-daughter, Mackenzie Green; two step-sons, Riley Green and Ethan Green of Smithton, MO; a grandson, Grayson Parker; paternal grandparents, George and Phebe Crafton, of Sedalia, MO; maternal grandmother, Ruby Fast of Eldorado Springs, MO; and numerous cousins and aunts.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Wayne and Erma Pritchard; and maternal grandfather, Jim Fast.

A Celebration on Life service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, August 6, 2021, at LifePointe Church, Sedalia, with Pastor Rusty Thomas officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for her daughter Chloee's college fund or LifePointe Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
