Alfred William Bacon Jr.

Alfred "Al" William Bacon Jr., 45, of La Monte, MO, passed away at his home on Monday, January 6, 2025. He was born on July 17, 1979, in Hermann, MO, the son of Alfred William Bacon Sr., who preceded him in death, and Terri Lee (Castiglia) Koch, who resides in the home.

Al was an American Legion Post 642 member in Sedalia, MO. He had many interests in his life, which included watching Bob Ross, painting, searching for arrowheads, hunting, and fishing, to name a few. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family the most.

He was always singing, dancing, and goofing around. Most knew him as Al, but to close family and friends he was known as our "Bubby". There was never a dull moment through good times and bad, but he always loved to the fullest.

In addition to his mother, Al is survived by his stepmother, Lydia Bacon of Owensville, MO; two sisters, Christie Bacon of Warrenton, MO, Jamie Macek (Andrew) of Dresden, MO; a brother, Tony Bacon (Jamie) of San Antonio, TX; a step-sister, Mary; four stepbrothers, Karl, Larry, Gary, and Eddie; a son, Landon; and three daughters, Meghan, Halee, and Chloe; four nieces and four nephews; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

In addition to his father, Al was preceded in death by his stepfather, Wilfried "Cooky" Koch.

A celebration of life gathering with family and friends will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on February 28, 2025, at Rea Funeral Chapel.
