Ada F. Butterwick, 77, of Sedalia passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 at her home. She was born on January 15, 1939 in Sedalia, daughter of Alvin and Virginia (Hurt) Gamber, who preceded her in death.
On May 8, 1959, in Sedalia she was united in marriage to Clifford Wayne Butterwick, who preceded her in death on October 7, 2015.
She was a member of New Bethel United Methodist Church, Sedalia, where she was active in the United Methodist Women. Ada enjoyed sewing, fishing, cooking, and reading. She especially enjoyed riding motorcycles and traveling with her husband Wayne.
She is survived by a son, Michael Butterwick of Sedalia; a daughter, Carla Drollinger and her husband Joe of Sedalia; five grandchildren, Brandon, Christopher, Austin, Dakota and Max; four great grandchildren, Brylee, Teaghan, McKenzie and Tye; two brothers, Gene and Dean Gamber of Lee's Summit, MO.
Besides her husband Wayne, she is also preceded in death by a brother, Warren Gamber.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kevin Gamber and Steven Gamber officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery, Sedalia.
Pallbearers will be Larry Brooks, Ward Wollard, Rick Yeager, Harry Blatterman, Joe Wasson and Jeff Williams.
Honorary bearers will be Jack Shepard and Dale Reed.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
The family would like to thank family, friends, and Crossroads Hospice for their continued care.
