Tommy Joe Lemler, 58, of Sedalia passed away January 23, 2017 in Wilkesboro, NC. He was born on June 5, 1958 in Marshall, MO the son of Anton John and Gladys Jewell (Merchant) Lemler Jr., who reside in Sedalia.
In May of 2012 in Sedalia he was united in marriage to Kimberly Diane Williams, who preceded him in death on August 30, 2015.
Tom worked as an over the road truck driver for over 30 years and for Tyson Foods for the last five years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and fishing in his spare time.
Besides his parents he is also survived by a son Randy Lemler; a daughter, Melissa Lemler; an adopted son, Christian Lemler; a brother, John Lemler; a sister, Sandy Moulton (Mike) all of Sedalia; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Jay McMillin officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of his late wife Kimberly, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
