Obituary For Vivian Clara Jane Berry

Vivian Clara Jane Berry, 92, of Sedalia, MO passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at her home. She was born on February 13, 1926 in Lebanon, MO the daughter of Johnnie and Velma (Southard) Jones, who preceded her in death.

On September 5, 1946 in Lebanon, she was united in marriage to Charles M. Berry, who survives of the home.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking and gardening. Vivian was know for her gifts of jelly, pies, party mixes, quilts and sock monkeys. She also liked to fish, camp, take care of her family and loved animals.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her two children, Ronald M. Berry (Sue) and Maxine L. Wheeler (Pete) all of Sedalia; two sisters, Helen Vaught and Dessie Holiday; three grandchildren, Robin Wheeler (Brian Barber), Wendy Berry (Amelia), Travis Berry (Kellie Moore); four great grandchildren, Clara Jane Barber, Ash Strand, Oslo Berry and Ellis Berry.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis and Ellis Jones and one grandson, Ronald Shane Berry.

Memorials are suggested to Show Me Christian Youth Home in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Real Life Church, 110 West 24th, Sedalia, with Pastor J.D. Reed officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service, at the church.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Reed, James Graves, Jessie Vansel, Billy Wilcox, Brian Barber and Daniel Breeden.

Honorary bearers will be Jack Vansell, Ron Vansell and Virgil Burgess.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.

    Seeing prayers for the family and friends in the next few days ,Made God wrap his arms around you all and comfort you all ,knowing she went home to be with Lord , I am sorry I didn't make it down there this year to see Aunt Vivian and family , but I am tying to reminder all the good times and I always remember that she always made a black berry cobbler for me , There was always good times and now I know she out of pain and in Gods hand and I pray for comfort for Uncle Charles , Max and Ronnie and the rest of family ,Love You all !!!

    There are really to many memories to post --All good ones-- She was a second Mother to our family--There in bad times and good-- Her smile will always be her biggest memory for me--It was like turning on a light--Now she will light the path for all to follow. Love you Aunt Vivian--Sharon-Red
