Vickie L Stewart

Vickie L Stewart, 60, of Dresden, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, MO. She was born on November 29, 1958 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Richard T. and Beverly A (Manning) Shields, who preceded her in death.

On May 1, 1991 in Warrensburg, MO she was united in marriage to John W. Stewart, who resides in the home.

Vickie was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of the Harley Owners Group. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, basket weaving, and riding motorcycles with her husband John. Vickie was a long time care giver to the home bound elder residents in the Pettis County area.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Vern (Russell) Stewart and his wife Jaime; and a daughter, Kerry L Breshears and husband Shaun all of Sedalia; seven grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and a brother, Richard Wayne Shields and his wife Jeannie of Ventura, CA.

The family will host a celebration of life gathering of family and friends from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Russell Stewart's home located at 24344 Chevalier Rd. Sedalia.

A private family burial of ashes will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Warrensburg at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
