Vasiliy Pavlovich Peshov

Vasiliy Pavlovich Peshov, 65, of Sedalia passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at his home in Sedalia. He was born on August 22, 1952 in , Verbka, Khmelnitskiaya Obl, Ukraine a son of Pavel Peshov and Ekaterina (Melnik) Pashov, who preceded him in death. On December 27, 1972, in Kamenets - Podolskiy was united in marriage to Dina Pasechnik. who resides in the home.

Vasiliy was a member of Sedalia Tabernacle Church. He worked as a industrial machinist in Ukraine and drove a taxi cab after the Soviet Union collapsed. In 1996 he and his family moved to the Washington state and then in 1998 they moved to Sedalia, where he started working for Tyson Foods. Vasiliy spent the last 9 and half years battling a stroke, heart conditions and diabetes.

In addition to his wife Dina, he is survived by a son, Igor Peshov and his wife Natalya of Sedalia; four grandchildren, Rufina, Dmitriy, Tatiana, and Aleksander; a sister, Lubov Arhipovich of Ukraine.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Maria Kukuruza.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the Sedalia Tabernacle Church with Pastor Petr Tsymbal officiating.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 at the church.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
